  With E.L.V. Denim’s signature contrast cut, cool inside-out details and baggy fit, the Maya is denim perfection.

  • Designed to be fitted at the low waist, slouchy in the hips, and a true wide leg

  • Take your usual size, size down to wear on your high-waist or size up for an uber baggy look

  • Song is 5’7” wearing size 27

  • Handcrafted from two pairs of vintage jeans

  • Feels like rigid denim with a lived-in, soft touch

  • Upcycled jeans are each one of a kind and therefore may have slightly different characteristics than the jeans pictured

  • Denim ages better when it’s washed less; damage comes from overwashing, not overwearing.
  • Plus, you can save over 2,000 litres of water per year by washing once a month as opposed to once a week.
  • Close zips or buttons and turn your one-of-a-kind jeans inside out before washing.
  • Use a damp cloth to spot clean and remove small stains in between washes, helping to keep your jeans looking fresh.
  • Freeze your jeans instead of washing them to kill odour-producing bacteria.
  • Steam your jeans as another energy-efficient way to kill odour-producing bacteria instead of washing.
  • Wash at 30°C maximum.
  • Prefer to hand wash? Use cold to lukewarm water, a mild detergent and leave your jeans to soak for 45 minutes. Then rinse.
  • Flatten, reshape and hang your jeans to air dry. We do not advise using a tumble dryer for our denim pieces.
  • Dry naturally in the shade or indoors, avoiding direct sunlight, as this can fade denim.

  Returns

  We happily accept returns and/or exchanges for store credit within 7 days of you receiving your order so long as the item(s) are unworn, unused, and in perfect condition with all original tags and packaging intact. If the item is sent to you with security tape attached, then that security tape needs to be intact and still attached to the garment in order to qualify for a return. Items that are returned otherwise will be rejected and returned to the customer. Read more
